My makeup routine is constantly changing. Recently, I’ve found products that have been working well together, so I figured the blogosphere needed to know.

Face: 

Primer: I always thought primer was pointless. It wasn’t until I bought THIS set that I realized its value. The Bare Minerals primer is perfection. My makeup actually lasts longer.

Foundation: Unless I’m going to a special event, I like to keep my face makeup fairly light. I use L’Oreal BB Cream and Bare Minerals Matte SPF 15 powder.

(Sidenote: I bought the primer, bronzer, and foundation in a kit (linked above) from Sephora. I really recommend it because it has all of the face makeup you need.)

Concealer: Makeup Forever Concealer Pallette. I like to mix to find the perfect shade.

Bronzer: I rotate between NARS Laguna, NYC Bronze Mosaic Color Wheelor Bare Minerals Warmth Bronzer.

Blush: NARS Penny Lane (still my favorite after years)

Eyes:

Primer: Always, always, always use primer on your eyes if you plan on putting any type of eyeshadow/liner on. The NARS version is my favorite. It is worth the money and makes your shadow more vibrant and long-lasting.

Eyeshadow: NARS Alhambra Duo and/or Urban Decay Naked 1 & 2 palette

Eyeliner: Stila Smudge Stick in Stingray “smudged” on the upper lash line

Mascara: Boots No7 Exceptional Definition. This mascara is “exceptional”, especially for the price. The wand has 3 parts: one is for lengthening, one for volume and the tip has a little ball perfect for corner lashes.

Highlight: If I’m feeling lazy I’ll use the lighter color in the NARS duo, otherwise I use the Mary-Lou Manizer from the Balm. Out of all of the highlighters I’ve used (believe me, there have been a lot…) this takes the cake. It is perfect for your inner corner.

Lips:

Alba Botanica Lip Gloss in Pineapple Quench (great clear gloss)
