My blog name may argue that blush is a necessity, but in my book, mascara is the most important type of makeup. With a little mascara on your eyes, your face is transformed into a brighter, more awake version of yourself. The best part about mascara is that you don’t need a pricey product to get the job done. Here are a couple of my favorites:

• L’Oréal Telescopic: The long wand lengthens your lashes. It doesn’t give your lashes a ton of volume, but is a great option if you are going for a wispy, natural look.($7.78)
• Covergirl Clump Crusher: The entire world has been raving about this mascara. Naturally, I had to check it out for myself. The shape of the wand makes it easy to cover allll of your lashes. This one earns an A+! ($8.99)
• Scandal Queen FairyDrops: Sephora started carrying this Japanese wonder product a couple of years ago. YAY for us! The three little balls on the wond creates plush, almost doll-like lashes. It is on the pricier side, but if you feel so inclined to pay a little more, it’s a fantastic product.($24)
• Boots No7 Exceptional Definition: The wand has three parts: one side is perfect for volume, the other is for lengthening and the end has a little ball. The little ball is perfect for extending your outer corner lashes. This mascara gives you a great bang for your buck. ($7.99)
