As a nail polish enthusiast and overall product junkie, I’ve tried what seems like every nail polish brand on the market. Some are too streaky, some chip in a matter of hours and some just really stink. I have enough nail polish to last me a lifetime, but there are about four bottles I reach for on the regular. A couple of months ago, I discovered Dip Beauty Nail Lacquer. Nail polish is full of harmful chemicals and who knows what else, but Dip Beauty is an earth conscious brand and even better, excludes carcinogens such as formaldehyde, dibutylphthalate (DBP), formaldehyde resin, toluene and camphor. Just like I jumped on board the sulfate-free shampoo train, I am now Dip Beauty’s #1 fan.

Dip Nail Lacquer in Bourgogne, $10

Unlike most non-toxic nail polishes, Dip lasts for more than a couple of days (on average, my Dip polish lasts around 6 days). My favorite color is Bourgogne (pictured above), a deep burgundy. I also have my eye on Escape to Santorini, an off-white that was all over the runway for S/S13, as well as Singapore Sunrise, a bright red-orange.
