I’m a firm believer that you don’t need to spend your dough on expensive mascara. It’s a nice luxury, but I always find myself going back to the basics. Aka, the drugstore. My drugstore favorite mascara is BY FAR Covergirl Clump Crusher. It’s a good formula, and unlike most drugstore mascaras, it has a great wand. It’s curved to fit your eye more naturally, and is sturdy. For under $10, it’s a staple in my makeup drawer.

Second comes Maybelline Falsies. Disclaimer: the wand is cheap. The formula makes up for it, but the wand on Clump Crusher creates a much more natural look. I like to layer the two, and use Falsies to create a more dramatic eye.
