The key to glowing winter skin? It’s not more cowbell. How about more Glossier?
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Global Glow: There are a few products that I use daily in order to present myself as a functioning human being. This is one of them, and arguably one of the most important. Dust is across your cheekbones as a highlight or use it as a eyeshadow. There is really no way to mess it up.
MAC Strobe Cream: Another great product to add to your highlight arsenal. I usually reserve this for special occasions, when I know there is going to be a photo-op and/or my selfie game needs to be on point. A pea-size is all you need, and dab it lightly onto your cheekbones and temples.
Dior Glow Maximizer: This has been featured on AYNIB before, and for good reason. I’ve dubbed this as an essential for event makeup, since it gives you a great glow underneath your foundation.
Glossier Moisturizer: All hail Glossier. Seriously, this stuff is the bomb. I use it as a morning moisturizer, and it serves as a great base for my makeup. I highly recommend the entire line, but this product is one of my favorites.
(… because we know this is all you need)
NARS Orgasm: A staple. It’s pretty much impossible for a product to look good on every skin tone, but François Nars is a genius and we can leave it at that. There is a reason that every celebrity, makeup artist, model, and even my mother consider this essential to their makeup bag.
MAC Creamblend Blush in Something Special: Cream blush can be tricky. MAC makes a pretty good formula, and Something Special is the color best fit for my skin tone. The cream formula is very buildable, so you can layer accordingly. I prefer to use my fingers for easy blending.

I’ve been hearing really good feedback about the MAC Strobe Cream and I might just actually give it a try! What’s your take on how it performs on oily skin? Would it still work well or am I better off sticking to my NARS Albatross powder blush highlighter? 🙂

I would recommend it! However, I would opt for the little tube. It’s $10 on Nordstrom.com and so much less commitment!
