This is stage one in a new organization series, which spotlights common messy areas.
First stop is the notorious desk drawer. An easy catch-all, my drawers often end up looking like hurricane victims. But, with a simple system, we can alleviate those extraneous Post-it notes and iPad chargers.
What you need: Container Store Acrylic Dividers
Goal #1: Keep it Contained.
Goal #2: Keep it Colorful.
Goal #3: Keep it Uniform.
The hardest part of organization is keeping it consistently clean. The dividers keep everything contained in a specified compartment. I recommend buying colorful pen and highlighter sets to create uniformity.
clear desk = clear mind = happy life. It’s basic algebra.
