Master the At-Home Pedicure

With only a few more weeks of sandal season, it’s compulsory to keep your feet in tip top shape. When weekly trips to the nail salon are simply not an option, it’s important to master your at-home pedicure routine.

1. SOAK

In a large basin, combine 2 parts warm water and 1 part whole milk. Add coconut oil, or an essential oil, and soak for about 5 minutes.

2. SCRUB

Buff away rough skin with a homemade scrub, like the one from Deborah Lippmann below. Use a foot file to remove calluses.

Deborah Lippmann’s Natural Foot Scrub

1/4 kosher salt

1 tbsp sea salt

1 tsp coconut oil

3 tbsp olive oil

3 drops peppermint oil

1/2 tsp fresh rosemary

3. WRAP

Wrap feet in a warm towel, and let sit for about a minute.

4. MOISTURIZE

Seal in the moisture with a rich cream. The final step? Add polish!
