5 Things for Winter 2017

It’s a cold one, my friends.

Well, in all honesty, I’m writing this at the tail end of my winter break. It’s 65 and partly cloudy at home, and my parka is not within a 2,000 mile radius of me. But, I’m back to school soon enough, which means I must embrace the arctic temperatures with open arms.

Here’s what I’m watching, buying, and doing this frigid time of year.

Zara Bell Sleeve Sweater: Because I need another sweater… But really. The Zara sale really got this best of me this season. This sweater’s bell sleeves exponentially ups the cool factor.

Orange Theory Fitness: OTF opened a new location right by school, and I’m hooked! It’s an high-intensity interval based workout, with studios all over the country. You’re hooked up to a heart rate monitor, so you can track your progress during class. The mix of treadmill, weights, and rowing machine is the ultimate workout, and I leave every class completely drenched in sweat.

Gorjana Mave Shimmer Mini Studs: My recent second piercing was in need of an earring update (Claire’s studs were not cutting it…), and these tiny Gorjana studs are so perfect.

Barneys New York Neoprene-Insert Rain Boots: My bulky snow boots are the most uncomfortable shoes I own. They’ve been sitting in my closet for the past year, collecting dust. In need of a change, I conducted an internet-wide search for the perfect, practical all-weather boot. These neoprene boots are short, but so warm. And much more practical for my class commute!

This is Us: I rarely watch shows live, but this is a special exception. I can’t turn it off!
