I want to love this trend. I really, really do. Am I little late to this party? Yes. It is “the shoe of the summer”? Probably, but I lack the courage to pull it off. I don’t have a Portland zip code, and I don’t have a composter in my backyard… maybe these aren’t for me.
But I can’t help but stalk the new Birkenstock display in Nordstrom regularly, and I wonder if I should make the purchase. My mom is about to send me into an asylum (I’m kind of concerned, too).
