Face masks are having a major beauty moment. Highly concentrated treatments designed to target concerns with a single use, masks can be found on the shelves of both Sephora and the drugstore alike. Most versions recommend using once or twice a week, depending on your skin type.
Blemish Clearing
Kate Somerville EradiKate Mask
Not necessary for use on the entire face, but perfect for clearing up problem areas, such as your chin or forehead. I leave it on for about 10 minutes, and rinse it off gently with a washcloth. It is not drying, which is usually the case with sulfur-based products.
Pore Refining
Clinique Pore Refining Charcoal Mask
My favorite mask to use before a big event, or whenever I want my makeup to go on a little better. I notice a huge difference in the size of my pores after using it, which is essential for flawless makeup application.
Hydrating
Glossier Duo
Glossier sells the Mega Green Galaxy Pack and Moisturizing Moon Mask separately, but they are designed to work in tandem. Use Mega Greens first, which works to detoxify, and follow with the Moisturizing Moon Mask to hydrate. Glossier recommends using each one for 20 minutes.
Love this post! Today I treated myself to a purifying clay mask. 🙂
